Anyone still here that I know?

Hi y'all-
It's been a really long time since I have been here. Life just became...well life I guess. I don't recognize many names now. But I have missed talking to people who have the same interests as I do.

I could not be here now as much as I was long ago, my job title has become much more than just stay at home mom to 1 little boy. But, occasionally....Anyway, I don't want to monopolize time with such a boring topic, so if there is anyone here that knows me just pm or email me. And, for all the faces unfamiliar to me, if time permits or enough time passes, (life thing again) I'd be happy to know y'all as well.

    Hi Jo and Brian,
    Nice to meet you both.

    I actually posted way back on the original board, and then up until sometime in 2004. I've been away a long time. It's sometimes hard to know who might be who because people change screen names. Then, to make it even more difficult, there are many that get taken if the board is re-done. But, It's safe to say, I won't know anyone who came here after 2004.

    However, I am glad to meet new people as well. At one time, I spent more hours in here than I really should have, but I could never find that kind of time now. It was fun at the time, but probably a bit sad. :oops: But, I've grown up....gotten old and am not interested in breaking rules or drawing too much attention to myself. Having a few minutes to myself here and there however, I just thought I'd spend them doing something I know always made me happy or brought my spirits up.

    who knows we may have run across one another. I actually joined much earlier than my status says, but i let my membership lapse...ughh..could kick myself for that at ticket time. but yup, name changes over the years and all that.

    This might sound weird or something, but, do y'all see my avatar? I know before I could see my own, but maybe that has changed? Don't know if it's just not visible to me or if it isn't working at all.

    No, doesn't seem to be working.
    I've had that trouble that it doesn't show up right away if I change my pic.

    Maybe go back to your profile page and make sure you've deleted the old photo, upload the new one again, and make sure you hit the save button. I am always forgetting that save button ;)

    hedonist, I've always been firefairy (Shae), but I remember your name. I also remember Sony BBS, but I may have written there a handful of times. Mostly started out actually participating with the board change back then, I had to re-register in 2003 so I was actually around before that. I know what you mean, I guess it was wishful thinking to hope to see some of my old friends. Though I am glad to see a few, and the new faces as well. It seems to be less hostile now....
