Music in Reverse?

Ever notice how some records (or CD's, mp3's etc) sound like they are in reverse? For example, if you are listening to Pearl Jam and you hear Mike in the right channel you think, "Wait! Mike plays on the left side of the stage!" Or you're listening to the Who and you hear Pete on the left you think, "No! Pete plays on the right!". But wait! Maybe they want you to hear what it sounds like from their perspective. From their perspective on stage, Mike really does play on the right side of the stage, not the left and Pete the opposite. Then you get groups where on some albums you have the musicians playing from the audience's perspective and on others from the musician's perspectives. And then you begin to wonder if you got your wires crossed and it's all the other way around.

Something to think about. 8-)
