2013 Openers?

I was just wondering who you guys think will open for PJ this time around? Ben Harper is Available per his website, so is Gaslight Anthem.. how about Ted Leo?? Any insight? .. too bad Gary Clark Jr is not available.. Love that dude...

Ben Harper would be incredible. I always enjoyed the KOL/ PJ shows but I guess KOL is a headliner now. QOTSA?

Gary Clark Jr. would be great, I saw him in Philly last year and that guy puts on a show. If hes unavailable, Id love to see Ben Harper again, he always delivers.

QOTSA would be great, but they would probably want to tour on their own. I just went to that Brooklyn show and it was great. Though I saw them open for NIN and maybe they are into it. Who knows. Dave Matthews is in the middle of the tour and had different openers per segment, including Snoop Dogg, Shovels and Rope, The Head and the Heart. It would be cool if PJ did something like that. My favorite openers have been:

Black Keys
Bad Religion
Ted Leo

They usually bring out some pretty great band!

Agree that Gary Clark Jr would be awesome!!! I think it will be Gaslight Anthem...at least on the first leg...they are also in the lineup for VooDoo, so it seems logical.
