Question about getting from O'Hare to Wrigley

So because of some conflicts, I'm driving from Columbus and my wife is flying. She gets in around 4 pm. I wouldn't think of driving and trying to park Wrigley as I know I won't get a space but I was wondering if anyone could give their recommendations on what route I should take on the El. Would it make sense to drive part way and leave my car somewhere or is it best to just leave it at the hotel near the airport? Obviously I want to get to the show on time so I'm just wondering the best way to do this. Thanks!

    I've done the train from the O'Hare area to Wrigley before. It's doable. I would allot about 90 minutes. It does take a while. But it's definitely doable.

    Take the train, traffic and parking will be terrible, so avoid that headache and costs much less to ride the train.

    If she's getting in at 4 and you're near O'Hare, take the Blue Line to the Addison stop and take the bus to Wrigley (or the Belmont stop would work too, you just have to walk 4 blocks north once you get to Clark). No way on earth you'll make it in time if you're driving, Friday night traffic plus this event will be brutal.
