    Missed '08, but '10 & '13 are two of my top 5 shows, and '98 was my first.

    Hands down, Hartford is my favorite city for seeing Pearl Jam.

    98 was my first show too. Hartford is always a great stop. The 06 show which had shit weather was the first time they played im open. Its also the place they play aint talkin bout love which is van halens best song. Hartfords probably always been a good show because of the addition of the new york and boston fans converging with the native hartfordians.

    98 Hartford was my first PJ Show also... it was the length of a PJ encore now! hahaah.. .Hartford 2013 is probably the greatest concert experience of my life... I honestly think it beat MSG 03/2010 and is right up there with Philly Spectrum 09 for me...

    I am shocked and sad they arent coming back this tour... See everyone at Fenway and MSG!

    I thought Brooklyn 2 in '13 took the cake, then I went to Hartford a week later......

    That show was probably the best of the 14 I've been to, I've never been a part of a crowd with that much energy, nor seen the band react the way they did that night. (Seen them in Boston, Philly, Central Park, Brooklyn, Montreal, Chicago & Denver...... NOTHING compares to Hartford..... Go figure!)

    God damn, I love this friggin' band.

    Thanks for bumping this thread, it reminded me to cancel my hotel reservation for the rumored spring date!

    I won't make MSG, but will be at the two Philly shows.

    Then you can all come up here for a couple of dates in August...... It's going to be a fun year!

    It was such a simple, succinct way of him getting his point across, and how impressed he was by the crowd.

    2010 Hartford was a fantastic show and great crowd. He even commented on it at MSG a few days later, before Nothingman "They sang the shit out of this in Hartford the other night" 2013 surpassed it. One of my favorite shows ever.

    Reading everyone's thoughts on 2013 (which I love), maybe the band that to be the last Hartford show for a while. Easily one of the top concert experiences for me in my lifetime. It may have surpassed my first Springsteen show in 2012, a year to the date of the 2013 PJ Hartford show in the same arena.

    I cannot do anything but agree with all of these. Went to both 13 and 10 - and both were incredible. Most memorable concerts I have been to. 13 was even better with GA ....just insane the energy in the crowds in Hartford....probably all the aching Whaler fans....

    I think the whole atmosphere. The city. The location of the arena. The arena itself. Both 10 and 13 being weekends. All that combines for a great atmosphere for the band and the fans.
    After the last two I will never miss a Hartford show

    "God" what I would give for a Hartford date this time around. This show in 2013 was my last full set show. What an incredible night !!!

    agreed. could not attend MSG because I was doing the Avon Breast Cancer walk over that weekend and went to Hartford a week later. What an awesome show.
