Certainly one of the stranger stories I have ever heard. Curious why it was not bigger news before now? Always a bit skeptical of stories when they are part of a lawsuit.___________________________________________

There are. There are laws on the books from the 40s that says the citizens are supposed to comply with police in their execution of their duties. For example, if your upstairs room provides and opportunity for a sniper's rifle into a neighboring structure, you must yield that position or face obstruction charges. This is also how a cop can take your vehicle to chase a fleeing suspect.
these cases have already been ruled on and upheld.

These laws have been on the books prior to January of 2009.Allen Fieldhouse, home of the 2008 NCAA men's Basketball Champions! Go Jayhawks!

How dare you talk sense, everyone knows its Obama's fault.0 -
This happens all the time in the West Bank. Israeli soldiers seized my friends house, they barged in, kicked him out and proceeded to watch soccer games for the next 4 hours.
This along with other recent news events makes me think the US is looking more and more like an occupied state.0 -

thanks ... i figured as much and i wasn't talking patriot act stuff either ... i find it ironic that so many people look to the US constitution as some beacon of liberty and freedom but in fact it has been shat on from day one ...0 -

See, I think with one phone call to a newspaper or local television these people could have gotten their story out there. As it is told in the Daily Caller it is riveting. It seems tailor made for an intrepid investigative reporter.
The lawsuit aspect just makes me skeptical.___________________________________________

I agree. Its just your home is more than just a home, the cement, whatever that keeps it all together, its more...its not a good thing when this happens. This maybe an overused quote, "absolute power corrupts absolutely," in the West Bank that is already and that is what seems to be happening in the US.0
