Cops run the whole spectrum, unsung. I've personally known examples of the worst and the best. The worst you walk away from when you can, the best you hold in very high regard.

(Sorry man, but "more" implies "again" which implies one side and there's more to it than that.)

These knew better, they harassed a young person through intimidation. I'll continue to post stories like this when I come across them.
  • that'd disturbing, but probably wouldn't have happened if he didn't instigate it with the window nonsense. he was provoking this guy trying to get something to show.

Of course legally he did nothing wrong. Well, except bruise tough cop's ego.

I just loved the part where cop #1 said "this guy is innocent-he knows his constitutional rights" like he was super surprised. I think most people know what cops are allowed to do and what they aren't allowed to do, they are just afraid to speak up for their rights like this guy did.

it's worth noting that I think, "tough cop" or not, this would get the ire of most cops up, and maybe even their suspicions.

I would have to agree, unsung, that this was a blatant abuse of power.

  • The cops (in particular- AJ Ross) did handle that poorly when the guy was less than submissive. The kid was actually pretty reasonable and I'm not sure why the cop felt inclined to get agitated- other than the fact he was not respected as he normally might be.

But in the end... what happened? The guy was detained and at least from the sounds of it, his Doritos were ate (you cannot tell because that is when they saw the phone recording).

I'd choose path of least resistance and just roll down my window. Doing that would have saved the guy 10 minutes of time.

Unsung... about your multiple links... are these signs of the pending takeover? Should people buy more guns in the event it is? Should Canadians be concerned in any way? And lastly... are cops doing anything good?

Lastly, are there links people could provide that show officers acting well? Or, as you seem to suggest... are cops just crazed and there aren't any that serve the public in good form?
    "My brain's a good brain!"

nobody turns their phones on to entrap good samaritans.

fuck with the bull and you get the horns.

I have had my bike taken apart and my truck searched just cause I was profiled and most cases I just did as they asked and kept my mouth shut (learned that the hard way  ) and when I do talk to them I don't kiss their ass and I don't invite trouble and that seems to work very well.

The Italian accent, referring to yourself as a "man of honor", referring your friends as "compare" , the double-breasted suit with the bulge under the arm and the fedora- they all give you away Godfather. Now wonder you get profiled!
