Anyone ever gotten a nice tick bite?

Got bit by one of these, a deer tick, when I was 6. Right on the sack

I'm serious.

Yup. I had a tick bite a couple of years ago. I completely freaked out, so the doctor put me on the meds for Lyme's Disease. No problems since.

Buddy of mine rolled up his pants one time...

unrolled them later and a PACK of ticks fell out

Crazy. It would be sweet to train them and summon them for your use.

i've had many ticks on me mostly when i was a boy due to constantly being in the woods & bush. i've never had lyme disease. i've felt them crawling up my legs & got them off me before the sucking began. i've found them sucking as well. like you, peacepaul, my youngest brother Dut had a tick on his genitals when he was a small guy. operation time for dad & a nice little burning of the tick with a match or a cig. back in those days iowa never had a hospital, you were on your own.

    Dut? that you?

my brother did this to make a living as a small boy back in the day. he'd sit on the front steps or on the sidewalk & pick plump ass ticks out of all the dogs' ears in the neighborhood. when he was done there would be many splattered ticks & blood splatters all over the sidewalk. i'm sure our folks weren't so thrilled but one thing is for certain, the dogs were. this took what seemed like hours to do

My darn dog always seems to get them. I'll take her out for a walk and I'll pull 3 or 4 off of her when we get home. Bastards are nasty.

Oh man- true confession time- and I've only told a few people this EVER so don't none o' ya open yer big traps: On one of my first dates with a young lady many years ago we went hiking and one of those little buggers hitched a ride on my "Balzac". We're walking alongside some tall grasses and all of the sudden... what the?...

    Yeah they're gross little bastards.
Only once for me, after a fishing trip I did the full check...nothing. When I woke up the next morning there was one on my leg but he hadn't bit me. Queue the heebies.
