What are your thoughts?

Wiggins out. Froome? Will Jens win a stage? How about Garmin?

Oh no! Sorry for both being in the hospital and no TDF! Do you have a computer and WiFi? You can get it streaming online.

That was crazy. I felt sorry for the driver. And the crash at the end was crazy too.

I thought yesterday's stage was awesome. I am sure no fan of Radio Shack but it was nice seeing the young guy win - someone who never expected to win a stage and someone nobody else expected to win. And to see the pelaton breathing down his back and him barely making it across the finish was cool.

Cav had problems today. So did Sagan. Greipel had no problems and took advantage of his opportunity. Exciting finish.

Maybe the OP can change the title of the thread to say SPOILERS INCLUDED so anyone that hasn't seen it knows not top look at the thread.

I loved the carnage - to Froome at least. I'm not a fan of Sky.

uhhh ... it says you are the OP ... :)

sky does seem mechanical but it does the job although they have shown they aren't unbeatable ... hopefully with today's stage - a breakaway can make it to the end ... hate watching only sprinters or climbers win stages ...

ventoux on sunday is gonna be pretty awesome ... movistar will be angry and froome will want to offer some payback ...

those accelerations from froome were pretty violent ... i don't think i've ever seen anything like that ...

i'd like to think he's riding clean ... i mean is was born in kenya where they seemingly are born with a 3rd lung ... just wish he would release his power data and sky sign on to the mpcc ...

only question left is who will stand next to him on the podioum ...

I am disappointed in Froome being so far ahead. I feel sorry for him if he isn't juiced because most people (like me) are pretty jaded and think he is. But we probably won't know for a few years. Apparently there is the "new" EPO for which there is no test at this time. Probably will be in a few years. Not to mention doping with your own blood. That is hard to catch unless the plasticizers show up. And then there is the UCI of course who like to hide failed results of certain riders to protect their image. Oh well. I still enjoy watching the race -even if Froome wins.

interesting article on velonews about whether he's doping ... feel bad for the guy that he has to answer these questions ... but the skeptics aren't just casual cycling/sports fans ... they include a lot of people who know a lot about the sport ... having said that - there are a lot of people including lemond who has defended them ...

Polaris, are you going to be at Wrigley by any chance? If so, we need to meet up and talk TDF.

I promised my husband I would call our hotel and find out if we will be able to watch it in our room, or if we will have to find a sports bar open in the mornings to watch the last few stages.

No. I put in for Oklahoma City. We don't live close to any of the venues - Southern Illinois. I picked the one where I would know the most people in case I have to go by myself. A lot of my PJ friends put in for that one.

great day for the breakaway today looking forward to the 18th.......i really hope Frome isnt cheating itll be such a shame not just for the supporters but for the sport in general .
apparently sky have got some sort of special training regime but wont realise the dater ....if Frome is found to be cheating he should be banned for life same as Armstrong ...even Contador should not be racing ..
if your found cheating BANNED imo

there is talk about a new epo ... who knows ... i'm not sure about froome myself ... as i have been with most other cyclists ... i wish sky would join the mpcc ... i actually emailed the team after they asked what they could possibly do to make people believe they weren't cheating ... well, join the mpcc and i haven't had a response ...

either way ... looks like saxo is sending riders up the road ... expect a full on attack by movistar and contador ...
