    I stayed in scottsdale around this time a couple years ago. Our rooms AC was on High and it didn't even feel that cold.

    Saw a woman driving with winter gloves on yesterday. :lol:
    I had a black car when I first moved here. I thought about gloves on a couple of occasions. Steering wheel gets HOT!
    Oh, and the metal on the seatbelt once left a burn mark on my arm for 2 days! :lol:

    Ugh...it's damned hot here too, though not Arizona - or even Nevada - hot.

    I just hope the cities' power supplies keep up over the next few days.

    (so fucking grateful for A/C and fans)

    Navajo seemed to do just fine.


    When I was 17 I visited my grandma who lived out in the desert, near casa grande. They didn't have AC per se, they had a swamp cooler?
