New band from Seattle and on Sub Pop Records.

They just released their debut album "The Sun Dogs" yesterday, I think there are still a few "Loser Edition" vinyls left.

Can't stop listening to this. One of the very best albums this year and the best from Sub Pop for sure. Hard to describe the sound, it's deep and heavy as well as light and heavily melodic. Hints of Jefferson Airplane, Jethro Tull and Janes Addiction. (Yes I am aware those all start with J)
Here is the first single "Native Dreams"

Here is their performance on KEXP

"Come take my hand, and let yourself rely.
Don't hold your breath, don't close your eyes.
I've learned to breath and I've learned to fly.
I've learned to see and I know I'm going higher."

I picked up this album and can second this recommendation. This band is excellent.
I'm planning to see them in September...can't wait. You see me empty, Sir, do not pause and inquire, simply assume and refill.
