    Every time the announcers mention the wind gusts, the 82 degree tightrope, the lightning, I wonder, "Why are you doing this? Why?" Then I hope the announcers are exaggerating for effect.

    Man, I hope he has sense enough to back out if the conditions are too dangerous. Anyone remember that old Eddie quote? It's about how the crowd wants to see you rip a limb off at a show, which only leaves you with 3 good shows after that. Sheesh, I hope he makes it home to his kids in one piece.

    Last night they were showing some of his previous high wire stunts, and it was nuts. They showed him and his mom doing one in Costa Rica that his great grandfather died doing. They even showed the old footage from the 70's of his great grandfather falling off the wire and plummeting to the ground. :shock:
