no cell phone cameras!

I was looking at my email and it says no cell phone camera are aloud in the venue. If I have a blackberry with a camera is it aloud in. I will totally follow eddies wishes and not take any pictures but is my phone not aloud because of the camera on it?

    No cell phones ARE allowed just dont take pictures with your phone or security and/or Ed will say something! Just be cool and you'll be fine!

    You can bring your cell phones in, they just ask that you turn them off & if you get caught taking a picture with it, they can throw you out.

    No, your phone will be aloud because of the ringer, not the camera ;)

    If I hear a cell phone ring or see someone talking on their phone anytime during the show, I may need to take it from them and beat the holy fuckin' shit out them! Phew, sorry had to vent.

    Why would you NEED a cell phone in the venue. It is not like the world will stop moving if you can't talk to someone.

    I know people will say "i have kids," but odds are your parents didn't have a phone with them constantly and I bet you turned out okay.

    I would think if you don't have it out they won't care, but I do have a boot of Eddie playing Trouble and in it he had to stop playing and ask the crowd to stop with the pictures cause there was to many flashes going off.

    Some folks are meeting up at the venue to trade tickets and whatnot.

    I was at Berkeley II in April and was about to shut my cell phone off when I saw Sean Penn outside the venue with his wife and his brother. I went next to him trying to get a picture but as soon as I stood next to him, he hit my arm and my blackberry flew 15 feet to the wall. I thought I had the time to take a memorable picture, but unfortunately the BB opened when it hit the ground and the battery went out, so no picture. So I think the no cell phone policy is just a friendly reminder that you never know what can happen or who can show up at an Eddie Vedder concert... However I doubt I will have any similar encounters at both Montreal shows where I'll be in 10 days.

    Exactly - when I was a kid (swore I never would say that) - we had no internet, cell phones and were not allowed in the house all day and were out playing - we all turned out fine!
