What are the odds ...

I had my music player on shuffle, and Habit from No Code came on. The next song? Habit, from the 1998 Barrie show.
What are the odds? 1 out of 246,197.
...
I think. I was an English major, after all.
What were the odds for some inexplicable event that occurred for you?

I have 11 versions of Habit, and 5,458 songs on my mp3 player. So 1/[(11/5,458)*(11/5,458)].
Right? :?"Where's KW?"

Basically zero: http://visual.ly/what-are-odds
That's either frightening or liberating, depending on your point of view, I suppose."Where's KW?"

Right? :?
I think it depends on if your shuffler repeats? If not, I think it's whatever songs were left to be played...say there were 4,002 left, then it would be 1/4,002? I think it's the same as the old flipping a quarter question....what are the odds of getting heads? it's always 1/2..even if the previous 100 flips were heads.
I think this is right...? :?Show #13 was a lucky one for me....0 -
I remember when I posed a question to the woman I just met (who turned out to be my wife).
I think I said, "what are the odds that you would like to get on my handlebars and come back to my place and listen to records?"
the answer was: slim to none...
thankfully.
I was hammered and would've made a sloppy move on her.
and PS - by "handlebars" I meant my bike, not my mustache. :PPick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0 -

If you meant the mustache...her answer would have been yes for sure.

there was some arm twisting to figure into your calculations arm grabbed at 'x'°, rotated at 'y' angle, with 'z' torque...or something like that
...and to think, they also traveled (how many miles Dirty Frank-ing organizer?!?!?!) to go to a campground in the middle of nowhere and pick up dog poop. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Correct, assuming that your shuffle feature is set on repeats.
if not, it changes to 1/ [(11/5458)*(10/5458)] = 1 in 270,766 chance.Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -

But doesn't this equation use the assumption that order matters?0 -
