For the first time Glen covers Smile from start to finish earlier this week in Chicago at a free show.

He continues to rock and hopefully this is a sign of the opener for the fall tour.

    no thanks on GH as an opener. We saw enough of him as EV's opener last year.


    Why have an opener at all anymore??? The band has outgrown the need.

    I love Glen so much. Seen him twice outside of EV solo gigs. His band is great, too. What a wonderful performer.

    Glen was awesome in Chicago Monday night. He went out there and played 2 hours and 45 minutes for a free show.

    His full band shows are unreal. I met him the night after his 2012 Atlanta show. I was telling him what a blast it was. He asked "really? I get concerned that we play too much sometimes.. we get up there and have so much fun we forget to stop playing."

    I've been to 4 EV solo shows and love seeing Glen open up just as much as seeing Ed.

    After Glen didn't do the Smile tag at the end of Astral Weeks on Monday night, I turned to my wife and said "Maybe he will play a full version of Smile."

    I never thought he would actually do it but I was thrilled when he did.
