I have an older car and still burn cds for it. Love doing this, like taking the time to put together 18 songs or so to drive around to for a the next week or two,
Last cd I made had some:
Phish
Marshall Tucker Band
CCR
Big Head Todd and the Monsters
Fleetwood Mac (Peter Green era)
Rolling Stones
Drive-By Truckers
Zeppelin
Dylan

Feel very to share your cds/songs

Haven't done that in years. Job, wife, two kids...

All the time! Not specifically for in the car, but I burn cd's on a monthly basis for gifts. My brother has a radio show, so I try to come up with some cool stuff for him too.

Not since I got Sirius XM radio

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

I just stopped doing it last year. I've had an iPod for years, but my car stereo didn't have the hookup for it, and I was lazy about getting a new one installed. I recommend it though, so much easier than all the burning, and I don't have 50 CDRs laying around my car anymore.

I keep a small case that holds around 50 cdrs. Don't do the mixtape thing, but I like burning entire albums and letting them ride in the player for awhile. I realize I can do the same thing with my ipod, but it's too convenient and if my interest starts to wane a little it's too easy to just flip to something else.

That's where I am now; need the new stereo & still making cd mixes. I think I'll get that stereo this summer, but the 6-disc changer keeps it kind of random.
    I LOVE MUSIC.
