You don't need a lot of money to have kids....you just need to work hard, instill good morals buy being a good example and sacrifice. I did it and my Grandmother and Grandfather did it. We both struggled sometimes but we all turned out great. My grandmother had sixteen kids. I don't know why....
My question is how can there be minorities when there are NO minorities?
16 kids? Did she ever stand up? That is ridiculous.
The kids all helped....I kinda agree it's a little crazy but that's what they did back then.... she had them all in the house also......she cooked breakfast , lunch and super every day did laundry with the old roller washing machines...none of the luxury's we have now and yet some people feel they can't have a child because? what? .....to expensive?.. it was not an easy life but very fulfilled...

My mom was the youngest of nine, but this was Iran in the early 20th century. Birth control, other than abstinence, wasn't an option. All the children pitched in on most fronts - it's just how it was.
Fortunately for me, I had some of the best aunts & uncles (and subsequently cousins) anyone would want. And had my mom not been last in line, whether intentionally or not, I wouldn't be here...and I think I'm a pretty decent person who passes it on.
Ripple-effects.
On the other hand, my dad was an only child - also in that same time period.
So...go figure
The expense side of it IS important too; has to be taken into consideration as much as any other aspect of parenting. Of course we can all make do with less or with little, but if you choose to have a child, you better be sure you can provide for them not just intangibles but at least the basics as well.
