How To Get Music From iPod To New Computer??

So my old laptop died on me a few weeks ago. The only really important thing on it was the music from my iTunes. I've had trouble putting the music from my iPod onto the iTunes on my new laptop. I know I could get a converter thing but it seems easier to just plug in my iPod. Anyone know how to do this? Any help tips would be appreciated.

Something like that happened to me a few years ago. I used something like ipod rip. I did a quick search and found this. Don't know how reliable it is buy you could try it.

The one I used wasn't free, think it cost like 10 bucks but did the trick. If I find it on my old computer I'll post it here.
