I am all for the debate but there is a time and a place.
Maybe you're right Jimmy, I'm not trying to be confrontational but I do feel that unquestioning adulation is very much part of the problem.
Look it's the same in my own country, certain dates which by their very nature are meant to stir national pride, the very notion of questioning such nationalism is met with anger and similar remarks.
I think we should always be validating our history and if we still feel we can stand over them with equal merit and pride then, well they must be very special moments indeed,0
