Nice. Sleep through the static is the last one right? The first 4 or 5 songs were good. N

Very nice. Too bad we have to wait until September though. I was just listening to his live album yesterday- the one with Ed on it doing "Constellations".

Sleep Through The Static was 2008. He also released an album in 2010 called To The Sea. Looking forward to the new single next week. Jack is a cool dude. Since 2008, he's donated 100% of his touring profits to charity and is constantly working first hand on environmental issues in Hawaii. Hopefully he'll do a full tour to support the new record. I've seen him a couple of times, but not since 2004.

its so insane, whats this now 3 tours now where he's donated ALL profit from each tour to charity? Pretty incredible.

Most of the profits. the "to the sea" tour he donated most of it to anything or anyone devastated by the oceans that year. He even had a contest to be a official ambassador for the ocean. 3 people won.
    A NASCAR driver
    A school teacher
    A part-time service industry worker.

His charity work is incredible. I want to go to Hawaii. :)

Entered the lottery for DAR. Hopefully I'll score in the lottery and then we'll have to see how expensive tickets are. Though I could see myself splurging for this one...I've been wanting to see Jack since 2005 and always have missed him for some reason or another when he's come around.

Def looking forward to the new album. The one song I heard I liked.
Sucks that he's not coming back to AZ this year. His last show here was great!

Good luck! And that was nice of them!

Checked out "I Got You" today. Nothing out of the ordinary for Jack--which in this case isn't a bad thing. Makes me smile and makes me want to be on the beach during sunset!

Right on. His stuff does tend to sound the same, but I like him for that. He's not a "let's expand our musical horizons as much as possible" kind of guy. Doesn't mean he doesn't make good music.

    He changed his tour. :cry::cry::cry:

Not going to tour the southern U.S.

He buck up and filled in for Mumford and Sons...

A blood clot on the brain of Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane has forced the band to postpone three shows as his bandmates and scores of fans send him healing thoughts."

I really hope he gets better (Ted) , but it's still unknown. Thank you Jack for filling the hole at Bonnaroo .

“Ted has been feeling unwell for a few days, and yesterday he was taken to a hospital to receive emergency treatment,” reads a statement posted on the band’s official websiteTuesday.

“The scans revealed a blood clot on the surface of his brain that requires an operation. Ted is receiving excellent care and we are being assured that he will recover quickly from surgery.”

The health scare has forced the band to postpone three concert dates this week, in Dallas, The Woodlands, Texas, and New Orleans, according to the site, which adds, “we have no plans to cancel or postpone any other appearances along this current tour.

No Jack Johnson or Mumford and Sons for the South.

They both canceled. If they are sick they are sick. Jack has to fill those shoes, he's that kind of good guy. I'm jealous or envious that Jack gave up most of his tour. I'll cry later. I hope Ted really recovers and it's not serious. :(

They are all very awesome humans.

I received the "not selected" email today. This will be the first tour that I will not be seeing Jack on. I'm really starting to dislike these lottery for tickets idea!

Received the "not selected" email too. Was going thru my spam folder today and noticed an email from CrowdSurge sent July 3rd regarding limited Jack Johnson tix still available for the show I selected (Ryman) . Long story short, I was pleasantly surprised to secure a pair of tix towards the top of the balcony in centerfield :D . For the most part, there's not a bad seat in The Ryman. Stoked for the opportunity to see Jack play there!....will be the first time I've seen him live.

was anyone else able to get tickets? me and several friends entered the lottery but nobody won, they should really do paperless tickets to prevent scalping if they are gonna go through the trouble of having a lottery
