If so, this might interest some of you. I found it pretty cool during the initial kickstarter and now he is ready to get the movie into schools if people find the project of value and want to support.

Either way it is an interesting take on the state of our "Space Race"

Always wanted to go to Space Camp as a kid.

I found a way to peer into space with an 8" scope.

And then there is space grass .... it's the cheapest way to go into outer space. 8-)

anybody watch that james may man show on the bbc? couple of weeks ago they sent the ashes of a cat and bird up inside a balloon.. the balloons made it to 30 some odd thousand feet before popping from the lack of atmospheric pressure....and thus spread the ashes into space.

this is what i want done to me when i die.

Space is a scary place. It lacks "air", it's freezing cold, there is no gravity, and it's the opposite of anything we experience on Earth. I can imagine (I've had nightmares), having a failure during a mission, looking at the Earth from many thousands of miles away and accepting I'll never get to come back. This kid has some courage.

I used to have this recurring dream as a kid that I had fallen off the earth and was falling through space toward the moon. That's as close as I want to get!
