Smith has a new job, too. He's been tapped by MusicRadar to create a series of podcasts titled "Chad Smith in Conversation." It began last month with Rush's Alex Lifeson, and Smith says future guests on his radar include former Faces keyboardist Ian McLagan, Florence Welch, Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard and even Elton John, who Smith says reached out to be part of the series. "The idea is for me to get with people I know or musicians that I know, and it's not, like, typical question and answer," Smith says. "It's just a conversation. It's a lot of fun and something different to do."

Anyone want to rip this to an mp3? I don't know, but I'm much more likely to listen to this if I can throw it on a cd and listen in the car. I'll give you a cyber high five as a thank you.
words seem so out of place.

Thanks for the link, this is a great interview!
I escaped it...a life wasted...I'm never going back again
  • Love this. Stone drops the word "agreeance," just like Ed did in the tour bus snippet from Immagine in Cornice. It must be in the band's vernacular... :)
