    There are quite a few from Dallas here. I lived in Denton for 5 years, as I graduated from University of North Texas, but had to move back to Houston for financial reasons.

    We had a board meet-up last June. We should do that again. Met several cool people. Or better yet, head down to Austin for ACL!! If the rumors are true.

    Don't know of any PJ cover bands though.

    i born and raised in el paso, but moved to austin in 95 and spent 03-07 in amarillo, and now i'm in dallas/ft worth till may of 09. so i've lived in just about all corners of texas.

    I live right in the middle of Dallas, in Uptown. I had to miss the meet up last summer and was pretty bummed about it. There seems to be a decent amount of folks on the board from Dallas.

    Yeah, there is a pretty good group of us. There were a couple of people at the meetup that hardly ever post on the board.

    Speaking of 'burbs, I am actually in McKinney, but was born and raised in Oak Cliff (Dallas).

    Just got together and met some people on the board. Talked about shows we've been to, posters we have, shit like that. What we do for a living, etc.

    This was June of last I think.

    Maybe we will have a tour to talk about soon.

    Lived in the metroplex for 6 years - Frisco to be exact. Moved a bit south last summer but would be very interested in attending a meet-up if one is planned. Please keep us all informed because where I live now - well let's just say I may be the only carbon based life form whose ever even heard of Pearl Jam!!!!

    Don't leave us Austinites out! I'd be interested in meeting other fans from Austin to Dallas. I go to Dallas for arena shows of other bands....

    Forney represent! I'm gonna try my luck at a pair of west coast tix today, and if that doesn't work out, I'll think about maybe going to Bonnaroo. And if that doesn't work out, I'll keep my fingers crossed for ACL (which I'll probably go to anyway).

    Anyway, aother meet up would be cool. I had fun at the last one...

    That would be SO FRICKIN FINE if it was. There are always SO many rumors out there about this band playing somewhere though. Do you know where the rumor started? I haven't heard anything here in Austin about a PJ possibility.
