    BIG NEWS & Prize Update!

    Hello Kickstarter!

    It's been far too long since we last saw each other but we’re here today with BIG NEWS and to announce what we all came together way back in 2013 to accomplish. The film will finally be getting its release on Friday!

    We couldn't be more excited to be putting the film out. Since the premiere in Seattle last June, we've toured the film all over the world and won a ton of really great awards, all in an effort to get to this point - where we have distribution and the masses can finally see this piece of work that we’re all really, really proud of.

    For those of you that pledged to receive the digital download of the film, you'll be getting that in your email later today. Once you've had a chance to watch, we'd love so much if you could share this iTunes purchase link, http://geni.us/GlamourSqualor, on social media and let people know how much you enjoyed the film. We're really counting on you guys to help spread the word so as many people as possible will see ‘The Glamour & The Squalor!’ The film is available for preorder now and will be available to purchase and rent Friday. It would also be great if you could rate the film on iTunes and even write us a great review. That will go a long ways in helping us get momentum with our launch. Thank you!

    For those of you that are waiting for your copy of the DVD, we’re still going to need a little more time before we can deliver that. The DVD comes later in our distributor’s window, but we will be delivering that at the very soonest date were allowed. Thanks so much for remaining patient. We know it’s taken a lot longer to deliver than our original projection, and have learned so much about how looooooong this process takes. In the meantime, send us an email at info@glamoursqualorfilm.com and we'll hook you up with a screener to watch the film, but you just have to promise not to tell anybody ☺

    And finally, we were finally able to secure enough copies of the Charles R. Cross book, ‘Heavier than Heaven,’ and they are being signed by Charles today! For those that pledged at that level, be looking for an email in the next couple days regarding delivery of the book.

    I watched the film last night. It was fantastic! Highly recommend everyone to watch this one. Some sweet Pearl Jam timbits. The Vitalogy story was pretty awesome! Addiction sure can take the life right out of ya. You got your ups & downs. Marco will touch your heart after watching this film.

    Thanks so much for all your support helping with the release of The Glamour & The Squalor. We cracked the top 20 of iTunes best selling documentaries and reached as high as 14!

    This weekends sales determine the life of the rest of the movie and we need every push we can get.

    Release Update & Bonus Content!

    Hey folks,

    Happy Friday! It's been exactly one week since we released The Glamour & The Squalor. The response has been incredible and we've had so much great feedback from many of you that is making this experience so fun for us. Thank you!

    Exciting Announcements From The Glamour & The Squalor!

     Hi Friends! 


    It’s been quite a while since you’ve heard from us, but we’ve been hard at work with our efforts to get the film out as far and wide as possible. We are so happy to announce that the DVD of The Glamour & The Squalor is finally here! Be on the lookout for a separate email from Kickstarter so we can get your up to date shipping details. For anyone else interested in purchasing the DVD, it is also available for preorder at Amazon and will be officially released this Friday, August 4.


    The DVD is Here! 


    Coinciding with the DVD release, we’re also thrilled to announce the film will officially be available to stream via Amazon Prime There were a few leaks of the film to Amazon (imagine that!) but it will be up again for good this Friday, August 4. Please help us in spreading the word! 


    And finally, we have two albums we are releasing as companions to the film: the original score as composed by Mike McCready and the official soundtrack, filled with amazing, exclusive music and interspersed with moments from the film! Both albums will be released on a really great record label and should be available in early September. We’ll be back with more details once we are allowed to share, and can’t wait for you to hear them both! 
    It’s been a long but rewarding journey getting this story out in the world, and we really appreciate each and every one of you for helping us along the way!
