not really. used it for a month or so on the weekends at home. it's been sitting on the counter collectiong dust since feb.

gotta admit, i enjoy going to starbucks on sat mornings to read the paper, drink coffee, and people watch. home coffee just doesn't cut it.

during the week, i don't get up early enough to make it

and ultimatly, i didn't care for the taste or the mud.

I prefer making my own at home. I do have a French press that I used when we would go camping, but that makes it real strong and gritty. I don't like Starbucks coffee, tastes bitter to me. Dunkin Donuts is good, but only if I make it at home, they don't make it strong enough. I don't put milk in coffee, so anytime I get it out I have to wait a long time until it cools down enough to drink it.

we have been brewing Folgers, believe it or not, but I think I need a bit of a change. I used to make my coffee very strong, used French roast, probably double the coffee grinds, but not any more, just can't handle that.

I am guilty of microwaving coffee too  I used to have a French press in Germany (even made it without the press just in a coffee pot ), but later on inherited a super machine from my grandparents that used beans and grinded the coffee for every cup. I am missing that machine a bit ...

My coffee maker is good though. I like the Americano from Starbucks, but this is now just my emergency thing for the road. I liked the Medium Roast from DD, but I think it's too expensive. Now I 'm back to German stuff. It tastes like the Medium Roast DD, but it's cheaper :D I order it on Amazon, usually ...

For six cups I use six slightly heaped teaspoons of coffee plus "one for the pot". It's strong, but not too much, just perfect :) Mmmmmh!

4 scoops of coffee per FP for me too. My wife actually is a supervisor at Starbucks and one of many perks is the free coffee. I personally like the blonde roast but my preferred choice is coffee from a different shop all together... but when it's $12 a pound, I'll settle for a free Starbucks pound when I need it. :)
