my eyes are killing me because i only got 2 hours of sleep last night.

Not sure how a concert gives you zits, but as for soreness, I'm there, and quite sleep deprived.
    Yet still feeling rather euphoric.

well i was sweating profusely and then I was too tired to wash my face well before bed. I never get zits like that, so I attribute them to the show. they're like battle scars :).

My wife is still in bed. (it's 2:30 in Boston) I'm still drinking my first cup of coffee. There will be more. My neck, back, legs and feet hurt. I'm not even gonna mention my throat. I haven't tried talking yet. We'll see how that goes...

I was having too much fun jumping and getting all sweaty at the concerts that I got the chills when I went outside after the concerts. I've had a hard time sleeping the past two days because my cold seems to act up when I'm trying to sleep. I'm definitely on autopilot.

My throat is killing me from all the shouting, and because my wisdom tooth has been infected for a while.. I couldn't take my penicillin last night; I'm still very dehydrated , even though I've had about 3 24oz bottles of water; my calves are killing me, from jumping and Charlie horses (see: dehydration).

Before the first show I didn't sleep or eat for two days, and I didn't eat yesterday, either. I did manage to sleep for a couple hours before the show yesterday, though.

Oh.. and.. my eyes are all swollen and puffy from all the crying, haha. If you saw some idiot girl wandering around crying and red faced.. hi.
I'm exhausted.. just.. completely. Physically and emotionally.

My work day is ending, I'm heading home to rest up, watch the Lost finale on tape, hopefully bang the wife and enjoy a peaceful long weekend in the afterglow of 2 great shows.
Hope everyone recovers quickly and well.
And everyone headed to Camden, enjoy.
    Happy Memorial Day folks.
    Don't drink and drive.

Thanks Pearl Jam and 10club. Amazing as always.

  • i was so dehydrated after the shows. last night i went to the dunks across the street to and found out they had gatorade and it was like the happiest moment of my life. the suspense of waiting in line and waiting for the guy to ring me while being so close to gatorade was torture.

My feet are killing me from walking around Boston for 2 days....got a few blisters which suck...Other than that I stepped on some uneven pavement on the walk home last night and rolled my ankle...that blows. It is still swollen. Then got up at 7:15 and left Boston at 9:45 and drove what ended up being a 5 hour drive back to central Jersey.
I am ready for a nap! Then off again this weekend to Camden!

Both mornings after both Boston shows I had to be up for work to wrangle kids (I work at an IMAX theater, we always get big schoolgroups at the end of the year, when teachers have run out of things to teach the kids) by seven.

I felt like my eyes were on fire yesterday. I slept all afternoon yesterday and today. My neck hurts.

    SO WORTH IT.
i'll wait for angels, but i won't hold my breath. imagine they're busy; think i'm doing okay.

I'm sorry you're all suffering today, but I must say, I'm relieved I'm not the only one.
I was starting to think I'm getting too old for this shit.

I almost fell stepping out of bed this a.m. because my calves were so tight I literally couldn't walk right.
I have bruises all over my legs.........some I can explain, others are a mystery.
My neck & shoulders are really tight, too. Is there a massage therapist in the house??

My voice.........it was ok after night one, but this time, it's gone.

    And tired. Just dawg tired.

  • I'm not sure if my troubles started with the huge swig of 151 I took off the guy next to me in a moment of excitement or the 2 beers after the show, or maybe the 5 hour flight to PHoenix from Boston after 3 hours of barely sleeping but yes I am hurting.

I'd like to hurt like this every day if I could have a night like last night every day though....

I get that pain in my calves because I'm jumping so much and of course no voice.

After seeing the Wolfmother show last week my neck hurt from all the headbanging. Man, they can rock.

My legs feel like they are going to fall off, my stomach is protesting all the shit I ate and drank this weekend, and foot is not operating properly cause I landed on it funny when Leash came on and I went bananas.

I slept most of the day today and am just about ready to go back to bed.

Christ...I'm only 24 years old and those 2 shows kicked my ass.

All I can say is just wait till you're 41.;)

PJ must all work out a lot. How they keep going night after night with short breaks in between is beyond me.

And Eddie's voice..........it still amazes me that he doesn't lose his voice.........he just gives it his all and rips his throat up every time, and the next night he sounds just as good.

    {{{{ I <3 This Thread! }}}}

Yeah, I'm still recovering... on the drive from Boston 2 to NYC I got 20 minutes of sleep. Then on the bus from NYC to Philly (where I live) I got about 90 minutes of sleep. Didn't really *sleep* until last night (11 hours in a row, which hasn't happened since before I was pregnant with my first child in 2001).

So I'm finally recovering from Pearl Jam kicking my ass in Boston...

Neck: Yeah, still a bit sore.
Legs: SO much dancing, yeah, calves still twinge a bit.
Soul: Sweet, sweet pain... the combination of being so amazingly happy to have been at Boston 2 (my first show this tour, my 3rd PJ show ever) and already missing the band, then sprinkle some anxious anticipation for tonight on top and there you have it!

I know, I know. I am usually a neutragena advanced systems religious zealot. And I did take an extremely brief shower to rinse off before going to sleep, but apparently it wasn't enough. my face really looks like crap now!
