Any vinyl fan/ vinyl Junkie will appreciate this book: Brett Milano's Vinyl Junkies (Adventures in Record Collecting). It includes the vinyl collecting experiences and adventures from the likes of Peter Buck, Thurston Moore, Peter Prescott and R. Crumb and several others. It's a great read, record fans! One of the coolest stories is about a Jeff Gold who bought a large collection of Jimi Hendrix's personal records, one of which has Jimi's finger prints all over the record and his teeth marks in the cover. How cool is that!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

Reading this now. Only a few pages in but a couple of quotes I like already:
"it's a common denominator"...... "You play someone a great record & they don't react to it, you know it's time to get them out of your house"
    Excellent. :D
