Since I've only been into vinyl since xmas time it got me thinking today...does anyone ever have any issue with records warping from the heat in the summer months when ordering by mail?

I have started collecting vinyl again recently through sites like Amazon with no complaints yet but if you read the reviews there are many complaints from unhappy customers who have received warped records...

If I order through mail I've been going through gohastings.com (a common vendor on amazon, but for one shipping price). I also like polyvinyl.com. I mostly try and buy from my local shops though. I haven't had any issues yet but the real heat is just now arriving...

I almost never buy vinyl by mail in the summer because our summer are hot (June, July and August: HOT!)

My first choice for vinyl purchases is always through a brick and mortar store but when tracking down a hard to find record my favorite site have been:

Craig Moerer's Records-by-Mail. This feels like an advertisement but I really like this site. They do it right.

But also very good (if you go with sellers with high ratings) are Musicstack, Gemm, Let it Be Records, Soundstage Direct and Acoustic Sounds.

eBay is a crap shoot but a while back I scored a killer near mint Russian Doors collection for (shipping included) $14 (but I've also had way more returns through them than all others).
