In the end
By IT
The night takes its place at the dawn of the
purple disc. My eyes are fatigued and my
mind tired; I lay on the sand, an ear to the
waves, the other to my own inner thoughts.
A moment like this, so easily forgotten,
as nothing and no one is around to stop me
from wasting away my youth. I once loved the
present, but now it's hard to put a smile on
my face, as friends and precious moments seem
not to be in my power to create. I know
though somewhere deep inside of me, that all I
need is light and more faith in this place
where I got stuck in the mud of old beliefs.
All I need is some hope, some faith and
patience to find the new way that shall lead me to
the awakening of all my senses with which
to embrace reality around me; To love the
present, cause in the end that's all that
matters.
