i see a lot of the shows have a 7pm start time
    most venues have a 11pm stop/curfew time
for those in the know, do they usually start right at 7pm these days?

Yeah. And you can expect the show to start at least a half hour late.

whoever has questions.....go. I'm here for ya

Ok, ticket says 7:00pm show start... what time will they actually start? Kepping in mind there is a strict 11:00pm curfew.

How long is the intermission usually?

I've got tickets to see The Specials on the same night as Phish so I'm trying to figure out how much of The Specials show I'll be able to catch.

Really looking forward to my first Phish show. :D I've seen Mike's solo band as well as Trey's band.

Plan on the show starting no earlier than 7:30. I usually get there earlier, obviously, but they always come on late.

    Intermission is a minimum of 30 mins....usually 45.

I haven't seen the band since 09, and saw most shows pre-break up, but will be at the show tonight. In the past though they tended to come on around 8:00-8:15 and play two sets. Maybe at 30 minute set break in between. Not sure if they has changed with recent shows though. Depending on the venue the show usually ended around 11:15 (including encore).

Will be curious if Bangor has a strictly enforced curfew tonight

Excited for the new set up, hope that ends up translating into some stellar planning.

This is the first time in 3.0 that I won't be on an early run of shows, but I will be doing Gorge, SF, etc.

I'm not a hater, and have enjoyed the playing the last few years, but I really do hope we see some new direction, being the 30th year and they've been hyping that up.

    PH30 yo!!

Had a good time at the tour opener. Venue wasn't the best, but the setlist was solid. Phish was actually my favorite band for years. Used to be really plugged into the jamband scene, which is why I waited until 03 to join 10club. Kind of a nostalgic show for me.

Show was available for download minutes after it ended. Plus, a free download was included in ticket price. They do it up right. Would be cool if pearl jam included a free download too

I had a blast. They were really tight, especially for a tour opener. I thought the venue was great, sound was some of the best I've ever heard for Phish. Grass was a little soupy in spots, but we'd had a bunch of rain.

How does one go about dl show for free via ticket purchase?

    Saw this today:

"Due to insurmountable transportation and public safety issues resulting from the power outage in Toronto after severe downpours in the city, Phish's performance tonight at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre has been postponed. The show has been moved to Monday, July 22. All tickets will be honored at the new date. Refunds are available at point of purchase for fans who cannot attend. Phish has been greatly looking forward to their first Toronto appearance in nearly 13 years. Everyone involved worked tirelessly throughout the day and exhausted all options, but ultimately, public safety had to come first. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."

I was unable to go because I am currently in California, but I will be in Toronto on July 22, so I may go now.

Back when Phish hadn't exploded yet, and they were out to completely melt your face and take no prisoners. Trey is pretty much possessed here.

Yes that is just my opinion, I saw some great shows back in the 90's and 2000's, I also saw shows that were not that good during that time, mostly when Trey was using a lot of drugs. Right now they seem clean for the most part, they are playing great and you can tell that they are really appreciating the opportunity to be playing again, the shorter tours seem to really help their playing also, they aren't out there playing 60-70 shows a year anymore.

anyone have an extra for Saturday night? I didn't think the lawn would sell out, but I guess it did. I'm sure there will be plenty floating around...but I'd rather have one locked up.

This will be my first phish show, so I'm really pumped...didn't get into them until after college, and they never come down south...just like PJ!
