hi, i'm planning to buy tickets for the heineken festival but i have a few questions, please help if you can.

1) is there a camping site in the festival area? if there is, should we buy different tickets to access that area? if there is no camping area i guess people are gonna stay in the hostels around, is that the case?

2) the shipping of the tickets cost 20 euros, has anyone tried to get the tickets at the gate for the previous years? would there be any problems? (yes i'm paranoid) if i buy tickets for the 15th and go to the venue around 2pm, i will be able to get my tickets right?

thanks for your help, i wanna buy the tickets as soon as possible but these questions are stopping me for now.

    Hello Bertan,

I don't know if there's a camping site, you can ask that by sending an email to
    http://www.ticketone.it

Perhaps you know that already, but if not:
just click on the "english" button and then look up the
Heineken Jammin' add - they show the red hot chili pepper add mostley,
just clickon the "next" button on that add and you'll get there.

Then click on the "more info" button and ask....

I'm staying in a nearby hotel myself, but that can be quite expensive....

As far as collecting your tickets...I don't think that should cause any problems
but I have no first hand experience on that, so......ask them?

Perhaps someone else can provide you with real answers :o

    Good Luck!

there will be a camping area, there is every year.

in 2002 i bought tickets at the gate of the festival and headliner was rhcp, so i think you should buy there. but obviously is a risk.
i read that the capacity for each day is 300.000 people and i don't think that they bought all the tickets, so...

i got the tickets sended home... 22 euros!!! damn expensive. Anyway I prefer that... cause you can only pick up the tickets like 2 hours before the show starts.
Just to think to be standing on a stupid line and suddenly I hear PJ starting song... no way!

ok, 250.000/300.000 people will attended for the entire festival (4 days) ;)
the organizer attend 35.000 people on 15.06, but i think that the place could contain many people more...

anyway, here there's the map of the location:
