Sounds really good. Excellent choice I think. My hubby loves his Guinness. :)

Um, their web page says they don't open until 4, so you may want to wait until then. :)

Not to sound like a lush, but are people going to be at any place before 4:00 at Dargens? Santa Barabara has an earlier start time than previous shows (6:00) and I would like to get things started around 2:00 or so.

I didn't realise the show started early. Thanks. We'd be in for an earlier place as well. :)

I was thinking about that and agree. What about Madison's or Joe's Cafe? I dont know either of those places, but I know that they were both mentioned. And TO sound like a lush, we may need to think about not going to Joe's since from a look at their website it looks like they don't (or at least only minimally) serve beer and only have hard (very hard...their motto is "Stiffest drinks in town") liquor. I would think for starting to drink that early, beer would be the way to go for most people.

    Just thinking out loud here.

I want to get really sick and puke in my 10- club seats. Just kidding. But stiff drinks I think is a nice plus.

great point. joes is a great 1st stop place if you are partying downtown and want to get really liquored. i'm more interested in a few beers and watching an amazing show at the bowl.

    madison's is a good call.

So are we all in agreement that the unofficial pre-party shall be at Madison's, at around 2:00 p.m.?

If yes, we should amend the title of this thread or start a new one informing everyone of the new location.

Here is a map showing directions from Madison's to the Bowl.

I don't know the distance of Madison's from Dargan's, but as Dargan's was also on State St., I can only assume they are very close to each other. I have never been there, but everything in SB seems to be located in the same general area.

We're here too! Played alot last night, and today, in for tonight. Saving up for tomorrow. :D Had lots of fun here, really nice town. Checked out the venue/bowl, looks really cool. Got some cool PJ stickers and heard PJ playing at a couple of bars. Can't wait for tomorrow night! :)
