We would? I thought Clinton was impeached and nothing changed at all.

...is that the same people who regularly scream bloody murder about conspiracies are gleefully cheering on an impeachment which has been planned for years. I guess that is funny.

    The funny thing about impeachment:

You kind of have to know what it means before you go making comments about it and thinking it would lead to #2 being in charge.

Is that we can get rid of every elected government official, except those in Congress.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

why impeach him when he will not get convicted in the senate?

    what a fucking joke.

can't win at the ballot box, don't want to legislate, just want to pursue something that will benefit nobody.

    today's gop at work.

Some jokes are more, shall we say, prodding than others. Surely you got exactly the responses you expected, am I correct?

The ones who need to lighten up are these guys standing around on street corners with their angry signs and their Obama hate. Bad vibes on street corners. Who needs it.

Didn't you tell us a few months ago that you were writing to your freshman Democrat congressman demanding that Obama be impeached? I cannot recall over what, all the bogus outrages kind of blend together.

i dunno, if you start a thread to make a joke about a touchy subject, the humor is sometimes lost on people who are pissed off about said topic.

    sorry i missed it.

(CNN) – Rep. Jason Chaffetz reiterated Tuesday that the impeachment of President Barack Obama is possible as the White House faces scrutiny over its role in responding to the terror attack on a U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya.

For some odd reason, the world "impeachment" really gets under my skin today.

I wouldn't mind seeing Smoke'n Joe in charge. He seems to still have some humanity and soul left in him. It's probably why they try to keep him hid away.

it won't happen, but why not ? he wouldn't be the first, what's so special about obama other than he is the first black president.(which is why I believe he won't be impeached) but as far as making a huge differance for the US or mankind in general why not ? what has he done ?

And this is what bothers me. how can you serioulsy ask that?

as much as I didn't like Bush II, I could at least tell people things he did that i felt were accomplishments.
I can tell you things he did that i DID agree with.

For some reason, the Obama haters just can't do that. why?

hate is very strong word,I don't hate obama but I don't believe he has what it takes to led this country.
I seriously can't think of anybody I actually hate. but really what earth shaking changes has he done ?
his list of dirty laundry seems to grow by the day lately and that may over shadow his good deeds what ever they may be.

ACA, and notably removed the "pre-existing conditions" travesty from health insurance
    ended Iraq war
    Stimulus
    Ended Don't Ask Don't Tell
    Invested in clean energy
    Wall St reform
Bin Laden (partial credit at least...). Gaddafi.
    US Auto Industry turnaround

That this is actually being discussed is the exact reason why I voted for Elizabeth Warren over Scott Brown. I liked Brown but I don't trust his party.

And regardless of the reason why he spoke out when he did, he's the first president to defend gay marriage. That's kind of the definition of earth shaking.

He authorized sending in navy seals into a very dangerous location on a very dangerous mission. And it worked.

I get it, you don't like the guy. I also get that your dislike of him clouds any potential objectivity.

My thoughts exactly. Yet the left leaning folk on here constantly get accused by some of looking through
"blue tented glasses" and only seeing "red or blue".

As i've stated. As much as i didn't like Bush II, i can at least admit to some of the things i think he did well.

The people who accuse me of looking through blue glasses, they can't come up with one positive thing to say
    about our sitting President.

So who's looking through what colored glasses???

I know why he was impeached. Perjury and obstruction of justice. But it all came from the other b.s. concerning the b.j.
