They've got a point... If someone can somehow make insects appealing to me as a food item or ingredient, I'll get on board.

    And now the questions -

    Do I kill them?
    Become their friend?
    Do I eat them?
    Raw or well done?
    Do I trick them?
    I don't think they're that dumb

(insects are beyond badass but I couldn't ingest them........tickle my nausea :) )

I knew a guy in middle school who had a bag of french fried grasshoppers in his lunch one day. He kept pestering me to try one and it just freaked me out. I mean, they were grasshoppers for cryin' out loud! But I finally gave in and tried one and, oh my god, I've never had a tastier treat in my life. They were DELICIOUS! Really and true!

Well there you go.... I mean, just about anything deep fried and crispy is good, so.... I think that is restaurants started serving that, enough adventurous people would try them, and it could catch on... attitudes would slowly start to change. Eventually, the heebie-jeebies would fade out. It really does seem like a good idea to me..... that said, I'd be one of the people whose attitude would have to change. My first time eating bugs would likely be quite a scene. I did have chocolate covered ants once, but it doesn't really count ; they were just blobs of chocolate with a tiny ant inside that you couldn't see or taste really.

But...deep-fried and crispy is fine, on the outside. I don't eat it often, but damned if I love some freshly fried stuff.

    However...as relates to bugs?

THE INSIDES COULD BE WARM GOO.

    Oh god, talk about heebie-jeebies!

(I am such a pussy when it comes to this)

Just what I need right now:

"Um, Doctor, I think I've got impacted sand up my butt."
"No need to sorry, son. Eat two pounds of worms and call me in the morning."

Went to Mexico and hung with locals. Had a bowl of grasshopers and everyone was eating them with exception of me, They were spicy and seemed to go perfect with tequila, beer and lime. If I have the chance again, will try them. Well with the tequla and beer.
