If Christie were a Democrat the GOP would be running ads screaming "Can we really trust a man who has surgery in secret? What else is he hiding?"

they threw chrisite under the bus for daring to publicly thank obama for the prompt sandy response. they would throw him under the bus for anything. republicans always eat their own who dare to deviate from the party platform.

Andrew Cuomo will be in there somewhere...

And I think Christie should just announce that he's Independent, to get away from all the freaks in his party.

:lol::lol: You better start know and get all your picks lined up in order of who will be nuttier remember last yr who you started with only to be left with a looser :lol:
the really funny thing is hillary is going to be even more popular for surviving the new witch hunt. plus, obama is very popular for a president at this point in his 2nd term. if he campaigns on hillary's behalf, the gop might as well not even field a candidate because it would be an embarrassment, just like 2008 and 2012.

he needs the gop fundraising. that is why ron paul was still a republican.

If all the moderates left though, they would never win another election.

RP was the only actual republican left

you have to agree that his candidacy would never have gotten off of the ground without the financial support of the republican party. if he ran as an independant he would have been sunk before it even started.

major party = major money. without money you don't stand a chance in a national election.

Yeah, there's no tyranny in this country.

Unless you run as one of the two you have no shot, the two parties silence any attempts at someone trying to run third party with lawsuits and ballot challenges. Nothing to see, move along. Third parties have no useful ideas.

    it is hegemony.

the problem is that there can never be a third party united enough or large enough to take on the big 2. people's beliefs are too strong and too divergent. i would personally favor multiple smaller parties. any 3rd party now only siphons votes from one of the big 2.

I believe people are brainwashed into believing that there is no way a third party can win. It's all about ballot access. That's why the GOP and Dems block the ballots as much as they can. No voice = no vote.

Anyway I'm going to create a thread when I get some time this weekend on the tyranny that does exist in this country. It is there, it's all whether people want to open their eyes to it or not.

I would vote for that ticket! :D

Michele Obama or Elizabeth Warren would be great also!

I would love to see an intelligent woman become president (yes, read between the lines).

so tell me, do you think that the tea party and a liberal group and an environmental group would co-exist in the same third party??? they are polar opposites.

the definition of tyranny is here... http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/tyranny

how can tyranny exist when a minority party is blocking votes?

if it is possible, then the house of representatives, run by john boehner, is nothing but a group of tyrants.

I think Tim Kaine would be a good shout if Hilary gets the nomination.

I really hope whomever runs is actually qualified TO OVERSEE A COUNTRY, and not about the "ooh" or image factor.

I'd never vote for someone because they're a woman, or Hispanic, or black, or Jewish... ; it'd be like voting against someone for those reasons.

And you shouldn't vote like that, but many do. Appearance is a huuuge deal.

    It’s an eminence front – it’s a put-on.
