Help with trains/buses in Chicago...

Coming in from CO for Wrigley and need some advice from Chicago peeps. Flying into midway on late flight on Thurs and arrive about 1220am at Midway. Hoping to catch orange line to the loop...staying at hotel 71. From what I understand, that line stops at 1am. First of all, is there any hope to make it? (Don't know how big midway is and how far the train is from terminal). On fri, will take redline to Wrigley up and back.

On sat/sun, we are going to see PHISH and curious what is best way to get from wacker/Michigan to charter one pavilion/northerly island? Bus/taxi or what? Also curious if $18 3 day CTA unlimited pass (missed $9 groupon offer) would be worth it since planning on visiting Lincoln Park area too while in town. And maybe beach, as well.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!!

    Best way to Northerly Island from there is cab. Not too far at all. Midway is tiny compared to O'Hare, if your plane is on time and you don't check a bag, you may make it to the el. If not, I guess a cab is your best bet, but that will cost a lot more money. Run for the train.

    Like someone else said, you may make the orange line if your plane is on time. There may be some shady business on the orange line that late at night so a cab might not be the worst thing. Enjoy your time in Chicago...it's the best summer city in the world!
