tax deadline has passed, I am tired, and my boss is out of town!

I have a list of stuff to finish for my boss when he gets back next monday, so there is some fire under my feet!

    Unmotivated here, too, But for an entirely different reason. My company started laying off people a couple of weeks ago - over 100 people w/o jobs so far. Tomorrow is layoff day at my location. You'd think that would make me work harder, but it just takes the breath out of you!

    Been there done that several Times. Luckily though I haven't been laid off ever. Probably the worst feeling in the world before and after.

    I've been with this company for 16 years and have never been laid off either. They do this every 2-3 years and it's always so nerve wracking. My sister and brother-in-law work for the same company, too.

    I've been through periods oF job insecurity...not a good feeling!

    The worst experience i ever had was the managers walked into the department heads office, got a name and tapped the person on the shoulder. I sat next to the heads office. Horrible thing is that they laid off someone that was doing the layoffs. Shit ass company.

    I'm unmotivated bc I'm exhausted from working around the house and chasing after kids all weekend. Can't seem to get my head into work today. Headache too. Ugh. Low productivity today means I have to kick it in later this week. Yippee.
