so I doubt I would recognize a Taylor Swift or Rihanna song if it came on the radio...but Number 4 has gotta make you smile.

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Kind of bullshit that Pearl Jam didn't make that list of 100 considering that many of their peers did.0

"they can still instantly sell out any arena in the country."
More like they can instantly sell out any arena in the world.
And also, yeah it is kind of BS they didn't make that list of 100.Bristow, VA - 5.13.10

Not necessarily true. Might be true for the big cities but they didn't come close to selling out in Kansas City or St. Louis in 2010.0 -

I'm always happy to see Jeff Tweedy and company getting some street cred though.
Love wilco almost as much as I love this band.Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -
Pretty good list.
I think Gaga needs another album of huge hits under her belt before I would include her. The diminishing returns of the Strokes makes their inclusion questionable. Goes to show how huge the first album was.0 -
Haven't they already stood the test of time? The only people we should try to get even with...
...are those who've helped us.
Right 'round the corner could be bigger than ourselves.0 -

You are too hard on yourself. Just a simple mistake. You exagerrate like the article does.
But yeah, they can't sell out every arena which is why they tour where they do since 2006.0 -

Actually surprised that PJ actually made the list & with the way music is these days i really cant see any other bands that will be able to stand the test of time. These so called "musicians" on these TV shows are barely able to stand the test of 5 mintues!!Eastern Creek 95,Syd 1 98,Bris 2 98, Syd 1&2 03, Reading Fest 06, Bris 1 06, London 09, Hyde Park 10, Gold Coast BDO 14 Budapest 22 Krakow 22 Amsterdam 22 St Paul 1&2 23 Chicago 1&2 23 Chicago 1&2 24 New York 1 24 Philly 1&2 24 Boston 1&2 24 Gold Coast 24 Melbourne 1 24 Sydney 1&2 240

If bands like PJ, The Strokes and Wilco are included I think there are quite a few missing from the list, and I agree about the point PJ has already stood the test of time.
Tool
Soundgarden
AIC
MMJ
Black Crowes
STP
Chili Peppers0
