It's kind odd that it's not signed & numbered... It's supposed to be on the bottom left but it's not visible in the eBay auction. Never seen one of the three missing link posters without it. The fact the seller has a rating of "1" is kinda off for me too.

From the original Missing Link offering in 2001:
"limited edition collector series of signed and
    numbered silkscreened originals for the
shows that previously had no posters"

I have this print and it is not signed and numbered. I don't think I've seen a Pitt print that was signed and numbered although I have only seen a few of them.
  • How did you obtain it? I'd be weary of an unsigned & unnumbered Missing Link. I've actually seen one other unsigned Pittsburgh but always thought it was a copy.

The Pittsburgh's weren't sold at the show. I've been a poster freak since 1994. I was at the show super early waiting in line for day of show tickets while watching the merch booth setup and there was nothing... Had a ton of friends there too that are posters freaks as well. One of us would have seen or heard about it!
It's not called the "Missing Link Poster Shop" for nothing. Get it? Missing Link. Missing... Link...

The 3 posters were sold signed & numbered out of 125 but only about 40 of each made it out of the door before they were shut down by PJ.

I was at the show as well, my gf bought it on eBay for me three years ago. I was Leary about the print and seller so I asked here if anyone knew the seller and I received multiple replys that the seller was a fellow board member and his collection was legitimate. I was in contact with the seller as well and still have his emails I think I'd have to look. There is one for sale online at a certain store and I believe theirs is not signed either.

There was just a thread here a couple days ago from a guy who confirmed he bought the Pittsburgh poster at the show just before they were pulled.

I know first hand it wasn't there for sale... no matter what someone else has "confirmed".

I believe the person who "confirmed" it, was the same person selling it.

Well... It stands to reason that a guy who bought it at the show would also likely be the guy selling it.

But it's not my intent to decide who is right... Just posting that someone else has different information.

I thinks it's legit plus now he is selling a Benny on epay
  • Him selling a Benaroya Hall has no bearing on the legitimacy of the Koo Chung poster. I'll post the original offering as soon as I get home to show how these were sold...

If it's the ITRPF store, they don't actually have it for sale. It's listed, but if you try to add it to your cart you get a message saying it's not in stock. I tried many months ago, lol.
