not everyone wants to be a tattle tail. some find this to be repulsive. it would take quite a bit for me to run to kat & sea sniveling about things although we've traded more than one pm . i am sure it is fully expected of us to act in such a manner. because i may be in a heated debate & shit is being flung around does not mean i will turn in my fellow pearl jammer. screw that.
in eye to eye life i don't run to the law enforcement agencies when i very well could have. i don't need this kind of authority saving me when i can handle trivial or excitable events on my own. also ppl being in trouble doesn't make me cool.

As to the police, only called upon them when needed and bless 'em, they came through.
We're all immature in some way, sir - and thankfully so...it's the part you mention (and live by) about being a respectful and decent human being that are important. We can be all of those things (hell knows I am - try to be).

I've been told it's important to announce in the thread when you are going to report.
I can see how that makes everything on the up and up and in good conscious.
No surprises and usually brings a more understanding atmosphere as to why the report.
Like today when a poster said they were reporting and I have also in the past.
This is good and helps people learn the rules the mods want us to follow.
It's all a learning process, we all want to be better and treat people better too.
