I read this review of Limp Bizkit's show. About 1/2 down I guess they started playing Alive and other covers from Rage and Nirvana. I am going in to the MInneapolis show May 14. See you then Fred!

They played and a dude came up on stage. He is a weirdo as Wes shows, but cool to see Wes play. Fred is a d-bag, but whatever.

Yeah, they last time I saw them they played after Eminem, killer show at the Target Center. Now its at the Varsity 800 people venue rather than 20,000.

    What does that say???

    Oh, God
  • I'm surprised they are still around. I read an interview with Fred not long ago saying he understands that the public no longer wants them, and is listening to them and disbanding.

oh my gosh. They have loyal fans! I took a friend to a show that was sold out and I always got free tickets at that time in my life.

She was so freaking happy. It was actually a good show.

oops.. it was Linkin Park.  I feel stupid. I always get them confused.

Yep, then I'm glad Fred understands.

I want to see Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and I don't think I can do the Metallica portion of that event.

    Pearl Jam has spoiled me.

But here's the deal: say in 2000, there were 35 million people who connected to this band. Twelve years later, lots of those people have moved on. We were a moment in time and it's over.

and that was just August 2012.

    :lol::lol::lol:

are they that hated? I never realized.

I mean, I never liked it, but wow. I don't really know very much about the band. I turn the volume off if I hear it, and I skip any news or articles. Kind of like any one does with Lady Gaga.

Well maybe the other members will find happiness with other bands?

Wow... I actually considered going to see them when they come up to Milw for something to do. Now I think I might puke in my mouth.

That may very well be one of the worst videos I've ever seen! It's like watching teenagers in their first band who don't really know any songs.

Lol, me too. I really liked their first two albums, then...

Fred Durst has to be the worst lyricist ever though. Honestly I just wanted to hear Break Stuff. Them playing that at Woodstock was freakin awesome.

I seriously loved the first two as well! Probably saw them 5 or 6 back in day. The tour they did with Method Man and Redman was the shit! I had a buddy who saw them at Woodstock said the same thing!! If you go let me know? It might be fun just for a laugh? Well till Durst starts talking....
  • I went through the obligatory nu metal phase; LB, Korn, et al. I fucking hate it all now.
