I can see Stone's point. Live shows anymore just seem like a set of songs that a) everyone knows b) same shit, different order every night c) songs they can play in their sleep...aka not challenging anyone.
That said, Stone shouldn't get pissed off when they do want to play songs he doesn't..."No Way" at PJ20 for example. Not exactly a sing a long...and it's not very common.

I've listened to some Moonlander on XM PJ radio. Some good riffs, some good interlacing...but c'mon Stone...you can't sing for shit!

Pearl Jam has truly become the side project. It seems like the guys want to play, just not so much with each other.

Since Backspacer (which IMO was just an ok album), Ed put out his Uke album and toured...Jeff put out an album and toured...Mike is doing his own thing...Stone put out an album, Matt is playing and touring a new album with SG. PJ has played a few shows.

I have no problem with the guys doing their own thing, but to deny that "Pearl Jam" isn't the side project anymore...you'd be a fool.

In an interview, Willie Nelson was asked this question and gave this answer:

Q: Are there ever songs you get tired of playing after all these years?

A: Not really. With this short-term memory, I forget what I did last night.

Give Stone some time and he may find himself saying the same thing.

Yeah no reason to call them an idiot, just say they have an extremely close-minded, low-mentality way of thinking that is often an attribute of idiots.

It's just as bad to call someone's opinion, or way of thinking, "low-mentality". That wears all the colors of "close-minded" to me.

Um, no. Its Eds band if anyone. Stone and Mike admitted so in PJ20. Not since Vs has it been Stones band. Ed runs the show.

agreed, ed has been calling the shots for a long time now. take a look at backspacer, that album is basically an extension of his solo work.
