2 shows for Boston in 2013

last time Pearl Jam played in Boston one show was changed as TBA and they have yet to make it up, seeing all Boston has been through it would be great for Pearl Jam to play 2 shows in 2013, this is an overflow from a previous thread, I am all for fairness in this world and if you promise something you should deliver, like in 2005 when Eddie promised they would be back in Halifax and St John's, but I digress, watching the show from 2010, totally electric crowd #BostonStrong and even though I wouldn't be able to go to these shows, I like to see good things for great people, and I would be happy to share a concert with any of you all someday

I get that but if Pearl Jam is touring the US in 2013, Boston certainly would be worthy of 2 shows

the truth that is, if Pearl Jam ever played Tucson, they could easily sell out the McKale Center 15,000 no problem, but I would probably have to go to Vegas, ugh!

Not taking anything away from what happened in Boston but why no love for Texas? Austin and Dallas maybe? I mean what happened there sucked just as much. Again not downplaying anything that went on in Boston but after what happened in West wouldn't hurt and seems like there are a lot of Texan PJ fans as well.

I would definitely have to do that if they play up there, but Tucson would easily sell out, but I know that will never happen, they don't play places this small anymore, actually south of Tucson in Sierra Vista and it feels like the end of the earth

I grew up in Douglas. Now that's the end of the world. Tucson will probably be SOL forever because of the spotted owl.

I agree. They also give Boston EPIC FUCKING SHOWS every time. 2003 they played what 3 shows? and every song during the tour, including a 45 song show!?! 2006, the return of LEASH!!!!! They should play one in Boston fo show but everyone is trying to get on Boston's good side right meow. Hell Neil Diamond just showed up at Fenway the other day to sing Sweet Caroline, they didn't know he was coming and didn't even have time to put in the karaoke version of his song.

Saw Beck at the Rialto. Amazing. Elbows on the stage, great show, Amazing venue. Unfortunately for PJ (or fortunately) they will never have a small enough fan base to play a venue this small in the middle of the desert

When and if PJ plays Boston this Fall, there is no doubt it will be emotional for both the city and the band. They've played 27 shows in Massachusetts and I have a feeling the 28th will top them all.

Source please? I thought it was going to be West and South this time around...Hopefully I am wrong and everyone is happy. It has been a long time since they had a big tour.

I have no source and you probably do, but I 100% believe this is true. I will be shocked if Boston is not on the schedule when it is released.

The Dropkick Murphy's and State Radio (my second favorite band next to PJ but lately rivaling for first as Chad Stokes is amazing) are playing a benefit show Sunday at the HOB for the victims of the marathon. They were able to set up this show in four days and they also changed the on sale time yesterday out of respect to Sean Collier's funeral. Not to change the subject but thought these two bands needed some props for their efforts.

If Pearl jam ever does play Tucson I would hope they do a small venue. Something like The Loft Cinema! That would be fun! We could watch Pearl Jam tear up the Loft in the main theater and after the show catch a midnight showing of Willow as part of their film cult classics!
