SYDNEY - Chrissy Amphlett, the raunchy lead singer of the Australian rock band Divinyls whose hit "I Touch Myself" brought her international fame in the early 1990s, died at her home in New York City on Sunday. She was 53 years old.

I had the opportunity to see Chrissy and the Divinyls a couple of times, once in a huge Stadium show and once in a sweety pub. One of Australia's best. Very sad day.

In my acoustic duo, we're always going in and out of songs. One of my favorite "merges" is when we play I Touch Myself in between My Girl and Wild Side. Always gets a good laugh from the crowd:
