ISO: Soundgarden King Animal Demos RSD 10"
This was the only thing my record store didn't have. I don't really have much to trade (as I don't tend to have duplicates in my collection :( ).
If anyone scored an extra copy I'd gladly pay cost + shipping (to Canada)
Thanks.

I was under the impression Non-US were getting black ones, but I don't recall reading anything to state they were delayed?
On Record Store Day, April 20, Soundgarden will be releasing a limited edition vinyl of the King Animal demos worldwide. This is the first time these recordings have been available together.
The songs will be pressed on 10″ PINK vinyl and the 6-song package will also include a free digital download card.
The demos were recorded by Chris Cornell & Soundgarden at TNC Studios in Los Angeles, CA and Deke River Studio in Seattle, WA.
UPDATE: Due to a manufacturing error, the limited edition vinyl of King Animal demos forRecord Store Day will be pressed to pink vinyl in the US only. Our apologies to fans in all other territories, where the album will be available only on regular black vinyl.
There's quite a few peope saying it was available in Canada today (include the store I went too) I think I'm shit out of luck :( I read the same article you did, but it doesn't mention them coming out late, just different colours.
edit: To be fair though. I went to 3 stores today. The first was loaded with RSD stuff and definitely looked like the knew what they were doing. The other two. One had a handful of titles (nothing good) and said they had issues with their suppliers and could only guess it would come in later. The other had nothing and said they might get some stuff in the upcoming week.
One does have to ask why one store (every year) is well stocked and the other ones aren't. I only have to guess the other ones don't try :( So I wouldn't expect them to get any in.

awesome. thanks
I got one this morning from Ditch they only had a couple copies.
Just like the Sub Pop 1000 they only had 1 copy.
Helped that I was first in line at 5am.
Lots of fun today. Cost a fortune.

That's good. That guy was only a few ahead of me in the line, so it would of meant I had only come a few minutes too late.
I didn't get there until just after the doors opened (7:15ish). So you would of been away ahead of me in the line. I still got everything else I wanted.
I tried to go to Lyle's Place at 10am. Epic Fail. I'm not even sure why they mentioned RSD participation on their website. RSD needs to remove Lyle's Place, Turntable, and Talks Cheap from the RSD participating stores
I think you were in line with my buddy in the Costco hat he's in the 10C as well.
He missed out on the Black Keys single.
Lyles is only good for bags I have never found anything in there.
My buddy says he saw a Riot Act there once a upon a time.
Talk's cheap is exactly that he said he had some albums I needed and never followed through.
Gotta love the Turntable they just don't get any RSD titles.
20% off is good.I found a Sealed No Code there!

Lyles had a 50% off sale last year, so their 10%/20% off sale this year seemed weak. I had a little hope because they used to participate in RSD. Last year it was zilch. This year they posted on facebook they had new suppliers for RSD? Then they basically had nothing. I miss the glory days of Lyle's when they had recent vinyl and loads of bootleg cd's (I think it was a few doors over back then). I bought my copy of lo2l from there for 15 bux! It was about a year or two after it came out and my little brother goes do you have this one yet? lol.
Turntable is awesome. It was one of the few places I could find new vinyl before Ditch opened the 90s. They have the biggest used (And cheapest) vinyl selection in Vic (allthough I did find this pawn shop on Cook st that has a pretty epic collection).
I'm running out of room for vinyl, so until I buy a new place I'm trying to control how much I by. I spend so much on RSD that I didn't really want to spend more at turntable. Thus I was dissapointed when they had no RSD stuff (even though the store is listed on the RSD website).
I was going to go to Talks Cheap but they posted that they don't really believe in RSD (and last year they didn't get much stuff). Something about overprices limited editions.. lol. So I didn't bother going in there.
Ditch Records FTW. (was just shy one record). I think RSD as a whole was better this year too. The last few (including the black friday one) had releases that were restricted to the US, so I couldn't actually buy what I wanted (which was why last year I went to the 50% off sale at lyle's intead). This year it seemed most everything was available.
