Hi All,

If anyone is interested, my Hamilton crew will be heading up to London early on July 16 to have a BBQ / Predrink and games day at Harris Park in London. Harris Park is on the Thames River and is an 8 minute walk to Budweiser Gardens.

Just look for the twenty somethings blasting "live on two legs".

    Also, we are working on a liquor permit through the city of London for fundraising purposes through www.ritfw.ca

    Ok - everything is a go. We e-mailed a representative from Parks London and she said:


    Good Morning Greg,



    This email is in follow up to your call yesterday afternoon regarding a private BBQ location in London, Ontario.



    According to our Parks and Recreation Department you can have a private BBQ at any of our London parks without issue as long as you:

    1. Clean up everything before you leave

    And

    2. Have a bucket of water available for fires and hot coals



    The closest park to Budweiser Gardens would be Harris Park, located by Ridout St. N and Dufferin Ave..



    You will need to bring your own BBQ unless you are interested in actually renting a BBQ area, where small charcoal BBQ’s are available. If you are interested you can contact our Parks and Recreation department at 519-661-5575. They rent BBQ areas at Springbank Park and Gibbons Park from Monday-Saturday and can provide you with more information and rates.
