Really Chris Matthews? Shut the fuck up! Kinda like Kathy Boudin and Bill Ayers right. Both left wing extremist that have murdered people. This Boston Bomber can probably find comfort in knowing that someday he can teach at Columbia University in this fucked up progressive liberal country.

The second sentence of this article says:

He [Matthews] then reconsidered and suggested, "...That’s not a good category, just extremists, let’s call them that."

But maybe this thread was intended to be more provocative than the whole story. Let's not go there today.

Let's not pretend that Chris Matthews is anything more than a liberal blowhard. No different then all the blowhards on the left and the right. I'd venture to guess that he has someone in his ear that prompts him to backtrack once he goes to far. But I don;t for a minute believe that he is anything more than what he says initially.

No, its a silly blanket statement with no real argument.

i seriously doubt that anybody posting on this forum is a domestic terrorist. left wing, right wing, or otherwise.

Speaking off the cuff, at a bar, this might be a proper statement. One that I wouldn't disagree with, to be honest. But I wouldn't try and make this statement on a national news network as the host of a news/talk show.

Again, the attempt was merely to provoke. I'm not falling for the bait.

    Closed for review.

Wow, I don't know of any terrorists on this forum. Chris Matthews voted for George W in 2000; did you know that? He says a lot of things that are dumb when he gets carried away too. He went to college in Mass and likely has a lot of friends in Boston...plus, he's human and was doing his show during a tragedy. I'd give the guy a break, especially since he took it back when he realized.

OP, yesterday was a difficult day for everyone and it continues today. If you're angry, that would be a normal reaction. Just this time, I'm going to give you a break...but see the Posting Guidelines and don't do this again or you will lose posting privileges. It's a trollish post and you would have been better off to *not* hit Submit on it.

    This thread is done.
