Mike and the mechanics! Jk
I went to see The Saw Doctors at the Vic a few weeks ago and have to say I have been mildly obsessed. I have listened to almost every song they made and have listened to their live in Galway concert on you tube almost everyday since. Definitely not close to my PJ addiction though.0 -
Big Black and indeed all of Steve Albinis bands.
Swans- Loud and brutal as hell or beautifully melodic, but always intense. Nobody writes a song or possesses a voice quite like Michael Gira. One of THE great underrated bands.0 -
I'm obsessed with Temple of the Dog, that one album is perfect to me.I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream...
If I knew where it was I would take you there.0 -

Seeing a wide variety of bands and musicians on this thread does not surprise me. Seeing Link Wray listed does! I love Link Wray. I got to see him once at Winterland and have been a fan for a good 40 years. In the film, "It Might Get Loud", I was thrilled to see Jimmy Page give him credit for his influence on rock and roll.
Very cool, voidofman!"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -
My list is long but at one time or another, I've been obsesses with all of the bands/musicians to the point of listening to their records constantly, knowing all the band members names, album and song titles and other details, seen many of them perform, and in a few case have met the musicians.

Yeah, they are amazing. If any of you guys want a nice intro to Built To Spill, listen to their album Keep It Like A Secret.
