I know he put out a shit ton of music. Can some fans point me in the direction of some must-haves?

Any and all! Just kidding! Zappa has some great stuff. Anything with The Mothers of Invention. His second solo album Hot Rats is awesome, sounds fantastic on vinyl. Its one of the first albums recorded with a sixteen track. Most of his studio albums have tons of layering with the sound.

    Sheilk Yerbouti is awesome!

    Hot Rats:

    Lots to explore! Good luck!
