I feel sad when you make it seem like
there was more than words for me
it's that old carrot I followed for years!
maybe tomorrow?
maybe next week?
maybe next month?
maybe next year?
I have finally given up hoping for anything!
if you ever wanted to act,
why didn't you do anything when I needed you to?!!!
now, I'm content where I am
I'm not disrupting my life
to follow any more "maybe" carrots
